myootdfashion respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our readers to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable copyright laws. Although we are based in United States, we handle copyright complaints from rights holders anywhere in the world using the process below.
1. Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that content on myootdfashion.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to usmanlatifbusiness@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is acceptable).
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on our Site where the material appears.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Notices that do not include this information may not be processed. When we receive a valid notice, we will review it promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material.
2. Counter-notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
On receiving a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant and restore the material if they do not take legal action within the time allowed by law.
3. Repeat infringers
We may remove content from, and block access for, users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
4. False claims
Please make sure your notice is accurate before sending it. Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a false claim that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
